Arrive in Nairobi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After customs and immigration formalities, you will be welcomed and drive to the Aberdare. Arrive in time for lunch at Rhino Watch Lodge / Aberdare Country Club.

Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure at Rhino Watch Lodge, or at Aberdare Country Club enjoy a guided nature walk at the club. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge. Breakfast – own arrangements.

Breakfast at the club. Depart to Solio Ranch, which offers visitors the chance to see rhinos living in harmony with other wildlife, including lion, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, and giraffe. The park also offers some of the very best leopard viewing in the country and is an ideal place for bird watching.

Later depart the ranch and spend the rest of the afternoon at the club at leisure. Other optional activities at extra cost.

After breakfast, drive to Samburu National Reserve for lunch. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before setting off on an afternoon game drive. Samburu game reserve has unique resident wildlife species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx and the blue-legged Somali ostrich. You will return to camp in time for dinner.

Take breakfast and enjoy full day game drives in the reserve.

Samburu is an authentic African experience. It has a rugged, semi-arid landscape and is perhaps best known as the birthplace of Elsa the lioness in the classic movie Born Free. Wildlife is diverse here, including all three big cats – lion, leopard, and cheetah, as well as elephants, buffalo, and hippos. The region is also home to the Samburu people, a group less well known but certainly as colorful and interesting as the Maasai. All meals served at your lodge.

Breakfast at your camp. Depart back to the Mount Kenya area and proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrival in time for lunch, and depart for afternoon game drives in the conservancy till late. Return for dinner and overnight.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 364 sq km wildlife conservancy situated between the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdares, and its game-to-area ratio tops the Kenyan park and reserve league. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy has over 10,000 large mammals and it is the only park where the Big 5 and chimpanzees can be seen. It is also where the fastest growing population of rhino in Africa can be found. There are southern white rhino, about 80 endangered black rhino and, in a special sanctuary, two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino.

After breakfast, depart to Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. You will have an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart and drive to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, depart for a guided nature walk within the camp at Osero Lodge (no afternoon game drive), or afternoon game drives in the reserve at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Masai Mara is certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya; this 650 sq km reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere. During the seasonal migrations, Masai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebras that move into the area from neighboring Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The reserve is home to all the “Big Five”, which include the African elephant, Cape buffalo, rhinoceros, leopard and lion, and it is also possible to observe hyenas, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, zebras, vultures, baboon, eland, bat-eared fox, jackal, cheetah, cranes, eagles, falcons and ostriches. The rivers abound with hippos and crocodiles.

Early morning and afternoon game drives. Optionally, you can opt for a full day game drive with packed lunch. The Masai Mara offers endless game viewing and birdlife opportunities. Of the over 500 recorded species, notables include the Corncrake, Grey-crested Helmet Shrike, Lesser Kestrel, Madagascar Squacco Heron, Saddle-billed Stork, Secretary Bird, Ostrich and White-headed Vulture, among more common species such as the Lilac-breasted Roller, Yellow-billed Oxpecker among the large herds, and Martial and Crowned Eagles.

For an extra cost, you could visit a Masai village to get to know more about their culture, or take a balloon safari. This exciting day will end back at the camp for dinner.

This marks the end of your adventure in Kenya! Check out in the morning after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight back home. End of our services.
