Severin Safari Camp sits inside Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and wildest parks. Guests stay in thatched safari tents spread out through the acacia bush, each on its own stone platform with a private veranda, a short walk from the central lodge.

The camp’s open-air thatched lounge, bar and dining area look out over the bush, and a swimming pool with sunbeds offers a cool break between game drives. From camp, drives explore Tsavo West’s red-earth plains, volcanic hills and spring-fed rivers — home to elephant, buffalo, lion, giraffe and a rich variety of birdlife.
